Viewing the "developed world" from the "developing world" is surreal af sometimes. #dwebcamp looks awesome! But how can a week of camping (even with the poor person discount) cost more then 3 months of all my living expenses (rent, food, etc) combined? Am I that poor? Or are yall that rich?
@axolotl the whole ticket situation was awful and not clear how it worked upfront. It should have been explicit in how the money was actually distributed. they brought a lot of people in from far away and those people basically got to participate for free. A lot of people payed the volunteer tix price of 189€ which required sorta an insane amount of work still which also is about 100€ more then I think it should have been.
