I now own a cathode ray oscilloscope! Just need to pick it up tomorrow, and then test/fix/calibrate as necessary.

Yeah only thing left to do now is attack the front and back panels with baby wipes, then hit the switches with contact cleaner
But first, I need to get some drugs
On second thoughts, maybe hit the switches with orange oil degreaser first

@s0 look technically I can see the reason for it, but if it was me I’d put a clearly marked switch on the back of the unit, and I think I’ll do just that. Maybe replace the cable too, make it a bit longer (and to modern standards with a larger earth conductor)
@jpm the cable looks ok but it doesn’t hurt. Technically any removal of the earth is absolutely not compliant. To achieve what is desired you must run it through an isolation transformer
