Currently learning* Welsh by watching #TDF2026 on S4C.
*Who am I kidding!? No idea what the commentators are saying but it’s the only free place that live Tour de France is available on UK TV this year.
Although I have learned that the Welsh for ‘peloton’ is ‘peloton’ 😆
@urlyman in my youth, watching the Giro on RAI and the Vuelta on TVE were how I learned the basics of Italian and Spanish. :)
…I have also learned that the Welsh for “well, well, well” is “well, well, well”
I learned (while at uni in Cardiff) that the Welsh for "sheep dip" is "sheep dip", courtesy of Popol y cwm
