In addition, people are using LLMs to summarise the thing they’re “reading” as well, and this will get more prevalent.

So soon it won’t matter if an LLM wrote it, because only LLMs are reading it.

And yes, as you say, it’s only us old fogies that will mourn actual reading and actual writing. Every generation has the same reaction to change.

Ew. I've never heard of Panagram or whatever, but the world being described is one where we don't care whether or not what we're reading was created by someone giving thought, or just a computer throwing grammatically correct nonsense sentences together is a horrifying image.
