I was struck yesterday by Brett KenCairn describing how:

So, question for you: How did you find your way into this conversation about land management & climate change?
@cavyherd I’ve had a background concern about the environment since a child growing up in a factory farming landscape.
It bubbled away with me giving it insufficient attention as an urbanite, until 2018 when Extinction Rebellion erupted onto the scene. I joined them and then became disenchanted with their approach, but I’m grateful, because they were the gateway through which I started learning a lot more. People I encountered through XR steered me in the right direction
