So, these IPOs seem *super* quick. Like "quick we gotta cash out before this whole thing goes belly up" quick.

On that note, if the coming economic shock is even a *half* as bad as the median estimates, the stonks are headed for Black Tuesday territory and employment is headed for early COVID territory.
I'd wanna cash out before that shit happened too, esp if my product was *extremely expensive garbage with no use-cases*

@johnzajac Yeah, that. I was mentioning to someone a while back (when I first found out that Nasdaq was changing rules in order to let SpaceXdo its IPO) that the technofash and a lot of other Major Players are clearly anticipating a very hard crash. That was shortly before Thiel went to Argentina IIRC.
Thing is, companies with *valuable, desireable, popular, and profitable products* can just...keep selling them? when the stock market collapses and economy turns. So a 4-6 year delay isn't like, endgame for them.
But "AI"? The crows are already circling because the disemboweled guts are starting to stink, even though the body hasn't died yet, so...
@johnzajac Something overlooked by many is that when (if) these companies actually start running, the price per use will skyrocket. Right now, we are in "the first time is free" period. Then comes the outrageous subscription fees for use, as the companies -try- to recoup their expenses. Then we watch 1929 on steroids. Perhaps the server farms can be gutted to serve as housing for the homeless.
None of this time is taking into consideration the damage to the world economy done by the foolishness in the Persian Gulf. Major supply chains are being disrupted. Like ones that are part of agriculture.
