3 year Office for National Statistics study shows that adding "Employment Advice support" to NHS mental health support had a strongly negative impact on employment and income for non-working long-term sick and disabled people.
it also had a negative effect on participants who were already in work.
it had a positive employment/earnings effect only on non-disabled, non-sick participants who were non-working to begin with.
