I do wonder sometimes about modern operating systems.
On my first modem, this update would have taken over 3 months to download.
The delivery method sets the limits. User has to swap how many floppies? User has to swap how many CDs? User has to let the computer suck on the network link how long?
@thomasfuchs not sure I wanna do the math and see how much time it would’ve taken on my 300 baud one (or even the faster one at 2400 baud I got some years later for my Amiga 😅)… 😁
