I'm feeling particularly virtuous today, having added flaxseed to our homemade yogurt with blueberries, almonds, and walnuts, with a dash of inulin and creatine. Flaxseed contains lots of fibre, omega 3 fatty acids, protein, and, um, a smidge of cyanide.
Currently using whole flaxseeds because I'm lazy, but apparently you can absorb the omega 3 oils etc better when they're ground. Hmm. Does anyone have any advice to back up my laziness over Dr DuckDuckGo?
