With the return of the wolf to the Netherlands, there's been outcry from farmers about predation on their sheep. What noone seems to ask is "do you have livestock protection animals?"

For centuries humans have raised sheep in areas with predators. We have bred various animals for sheep protection. You can use a donkey, as in this example. I've also seen it with alpacas, but perhaps more common (in Europe at least) are dog breeds such as the Pyrenean mountain dog.

Seems we forgot this one.
