@Daojoan Maybe oddly, my reference for this way of thinking is a Dear Abby/Ann Landers (sorry, ladies, I can’t remember which) column from when I was a kid. A woman who had been pre-med dropped out when she got married and pregnant and stayed home with her kids, but now they were in school and she was thinking of going back to finish her degree and go to med school, but she was daunted by the idea that in six years, when she was done, she’d be 35! A/A responded “you’ll be 35 in 6 years regardless. The question is will you be a doctor?”

After 2+years on HRT I kinda agree, but I feel there are more things that scare me than those I've started yet...
