Got my email today. I’ve had my last UK print edition of Wired. This one hurts. I adore the magazine format. It gives me focus and ‘forces’ me to read about things I’d probably have skipped online.
@craiggrannell I’ll miss these while going from the UK airport, used to be my go to magazine to buy. 😕
@Viditb it’s a weird decision, IMO. But then a US company is probably not happy with the kind of subscriber numbers a UK company happily takes.
I’m going to remain a Wired subscriber (and, hopefully, an occasional contributor!) but I’ll deeply miss that chunky mag dropping through the letterbox, and saving one to take on holiday to read on the beach rather than staring at a phone for yet more hours.
US folks: keep your print edition alive!
