Delaware has more corporations chartered in the state than residents.
A judge just determined that corporations ("non-human artificial entities"/"legal person") have the right to vote in elections.
The level of corporatocracy in the US just reached a new level of absurdity.
@Jeremiah let's keep this going to its natural conclusions:
* corporations should be required to perform jury duty
* corporations between the ages of 18 and 25 must register for Selective Service
* should the SAVE America Act pass, corporations will be required to show ID to prove they are US citizens to vote (also the name must match their birth certificate, don't want those pesky married corpos to vote!!)
* since the state of Delaware now has more voters, its number of house representatives should reflect that
* corporations should now pay federal and state taxes

This doesn't see to be *precisely correct
There is a lot of nuance in the Judge's decision which is based on . . get this. . local gov't charters which allow for this
