A public library in my area in Milan, Italy, provides a cork bulletin board for patrons and neighbourhood residents to post jobs and services. The bulletin board is covered with messages of people looking to be hired for work. The are no offers of jobs or paid services.

@amoroso is this US style wait and see if we ever need to hire a junior knowledge worker thinking come to Milan?
My perception is that Italy and EU law encourage artisan skills and trade unions. Not so?
