So, in yesterday's video binge, the man and the woman were arguing while she was on the pot, and they got to the end of the argument, and all's well, and she says, "I'm out of toilet paper, bring me a new roll?"
He scurries off to get it.
But here's the thing.
Who doesn't keep their toilet paper supply within easy reach of their toilet?
@GeePawHill People with a small cubicle without a handy shelf, like us? (we have at most 1 spare roll within reach, and that only when the current one is nearing its end)
@GeePawHill Well, bathroom remodeling is the next big project. But we're having the house-painters next year and money (as well as our capacity to bear noise and strangers in the house) stretches only so far.

It's more like a just in time logistics network. There is a small stash in easy reach but that doesn't have enough room for the large packages you get from the store. So there is a warehouse somewhere else in the house, too.
@tipjip Right, same here. But when you mount the last local roll, you go to the central supply and grab 4 or 5 more rolls, right?

Yes. And then the children think it is easier to fill their stash from your stash and suddenly you are out of paper again. 🙄
I mean, we're a big house w/three toilets, and of course we buy toilet paper in some bulk and keep it in a central location that isn't a bathroom. (The top shelf in the entryway, actually.)
But there are multiple rolls in easy reach in every actual bathroom.
I'm like, how can I help you if you can't help yourself?!?

@ellenor2000 Yeah, that's fine. It's a humongous bulk package that's centrally located. But we still have more than the current roll in easy reach of the actual toilets.
