the CA state government actually wants to argue that "technical limitations or outages" can't be used to evade auditing or regulation? i have wanted them to do that for fucking YEARS! they actually want to set precedent for that shit? i would willingly pay the fine to make that happen
the law is blatantly fucking unconstitutional on its face. the ACLU starts chomping at the bit for a fraction of a chance like this
