I generally think people who are way younger or way older than me are a lot more interesting than people my same age.
I wonder if maybe that's weird, until I remember I've *always* felt like this.
When I was a teenager, I had good friends twice my age.
I took to being a dad like a duck to water because I think children are *amazing* and on average communicate and behave quite well.
I like meeting people in their 60s & 70s and listening to their stories.
Multi-generational environments ROCK!
@jaredwhite As a kid, I adored the “Olds” because they already had the “map” or A Map and had excellent guidance and great stories. I also loved babysitting especially kids just beginning to talk because they asked interesting questions in ways that showed how they felt about the world on so many levels. Seeing different POVs has filled my life. My age group we have common references that gives us inside jokes in some ways.
