Note that I'm fine if Nolan really does something with this choice, but if it's simply "the world is just the USA so mythical pre-Greece is the USA with sandals instead of iphones" then it's completely stupid.
Except if he really owns that, of course - but to do so he would need to understand that the rest of the world exists, and I'm not convinced he does.
