I mean, I dunno, what do you think the world should do for us? Warm us up a glass of milk, give us a big hug, and tell us it's not our fault we elected Discount Hitler? I don't think you would respond that way if another country was literally burning the world to the ground and starving you. You'd rightfully demand someone make us stop.
