this isn’t a joke I just care about background art a lot more than people art
one of my grandpas was a painter who painted pretty much only empty landscapes, almost never put people in them and pretty much did not do portraits (there is one of my grandma i know, but that is it). so I can claim it is hereditary.
he was not as much of a fan of strange and alien geometries, though. More actual landscapes from where he lived.
Parents gave me two of his paintings when we moved into this place. I do really love the way he did trees, even if I personally like art showing urban or weird stuff more.
