do yourself a favor and start eating roasted vegetables. its cheap and delicious
@beka_valentine wait... What are other people having for dinner every night if not this??
get some broccoli, onions, and garlic. chop the broccoli into bite sized pieces, the onion into 1-2" squares, and smash but dont cut the garlic cloves. use a lot of garlic (a whole head per serving)
put it in a bowl with a bunch of olive oil, enough to coat everything. add salt and pepper. roast at 400 degrees until the onions are half charred, about an hour maybe a little more
it will be one of the most luxurious dishes you've had in a while and your home will smell amazing
32 oz of whole foods frozen broccoli florets is $6, a red onion is $0.85, and 3 heads of garlic is $1.80 (tho i'd recommend getting a big container of pre-peeled garlic for speed)
that'll get you 2-4 servings, and cost you only $9 and itll be luxuriously good
