You will not ~think your way into a new life. You have to move first and badly, in public, and let fresh evidence drag your self-image along behind it, kicking and screaming.

@Daojoan my self-image bites and scratches! I'm not going to drag that anywhere it doesnt want to go.
It's much safer for all involved to lure it out with some treats, and calmly lead it to it's new environment.
Then give it some time and a nice cozy space to retreat, and eventually it'll grow into a shape that suits it's new home.
