It should just be a fediverse client that makes it look like you're in a 1980s family room with wood paneling and tattered shag carpeting, and you turn on an old computer and you can scroll the fediverse on it.

You wanted a VR Fediverse, for a laugh? We had a tool for that, it was called a MUD,

@catsalad It's not well documented, but you can actually do this with the web client. If you use list mode, you can have one view per eye. If you offset them very slightly, then you get fully immersive 3D text.
