@kirk you guys know that peristaltic pumps, the tubing goes bad and has to be changed every X hours ?

that looks like pharmed tubing, sold by cole parmer or similar in US; I forget how many hours that tubing is rated for, but it isn't that many

@failedLyndonLaRouchite yep, we change them when they go bad, on the order of several hundred hours, depending on the chemical exposure.

We use Tygon Chemical (has another brand name now I think), 3x5 mm, PTFE-lined BPT

? we need to move away from forever chemicals if possible, esp in a disposable item

? a battery as a power source is not realistic if the tubing needs to be changed regularly
