Let's be clear about this, too: any oppressive intervention like this is measured in dead students. Whenever politicians decide to go after trans kids, some of them commit suicide. Even those that survive suicide attempts are often permanently disabled or otherwise left with lifelong health complications.
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA, district 3) voted for there to be more dead kids.
Update: Perez has defended her choice to go after trans kids, trans teachers, other trans staff in schools, and books including trans characters.
Her actions here have a body count, and like all transphobia, is measured in suicide rates.
