"Why are we still logging into multiple apps?" is something I think about every time I see a service that taps into multiple open networks

Cross-posting is cool, but that's a closed-network concept, and I / we at @anew.social@bsky.brid.gy are thinking bigger. When I said "The Last Network Effect" in 2024, it wasn't an idea, it was a goal. augment.ink/bridges-the-...

I don't think it's the fault of the services, I just don't think we're building the right tools. When there are no walls to break down, sending things to multiple platforms to tap into open networks should feel antiquated.
