@arstechnica I've watched YouTube vids produced by credible authorities who've said it makes no sense to put data centers on-orbit because you'd have to put insanely huge solar panel arrays on them, thermal control would be a nightmare, we'd be interfering with more stellar observations, and in the end bandwidth would be limited.

The folks (especially Elon) trying to do this are a bunch of retards, and we need to quit treating them like 4D chess-playing geniuses which they're not.
