@siracusa the only reason I started playing Destiny 1 was because of you. I heard you talk about it on your show and ever since I was hooked. D2 may not be what it was but it was always home.

@siracusa Maybe Marathon will slowly morph in to Destiny with the added PvE experiments coming in season 2. Still wild that the ride is over…. For now!
@siracusa Maybe my favorite franchise, and definitely my most played franchise. It was obvious that the end was near, but it’s still a bummer.

@siracusa An end of an era. So many "Destiny Killers" failed along the way. So many good memories, too.
All in all, I wish Bungie's planning had been better. Mostly that Lightfall hadn't been such a huge narrative misstep at such a critical moment in the story.
And I wish they'd ended dev on Destiny 2 after The Final Shape and held the actually quite decent sci-fi story of the Fate Saga for the renewed enthusiasm that would have come with a fresh Destiny 3.
Still, Destiny did Become Legend!
@siracusa the writing was so clearly on the wall. The Final Shape was the perfect send off.
But then they couldn’t pull the trigger because D3 wasnt even cooking yet . . .
Well, now we have (and have had) time for other games!
