#MastoAdmin #MastoMods community should be on the alert for hijacked accounts. We have observed some signals of dormant accounts suddenly being used in the past two or three weeks.

@iftas is there really hacking, or were the accounts purposely created for this?
@Mimesatwork for this activity the belief is existing authentic accounts were hijacked (no hacking in the strictest terms, just gaining access to accounts).
Accounts being created is also a thing that is happening, but this story does not cover that activity.
IFTAS tracks both new accounts created by these entities and suspected account hijacking.
