I think I've complained about this before, but I'm currently writing an article that uses this word a lot, and I just have to say how deeply I dislike the Canadian spelling of "manoeuvre" (the American spelling "maneuver" is bad enough... yikes.)

p.s. I know just enough French to disgrace myself, a few mispronounced words, but the Quebecois (despite a few snickers) were very open, kind, and friendly to me when I visited there once, and they even set their revulsion aside to assist me in English. Good folks!
