- Schrödingender: could be any permutation of gender, until they're observed, at which point they resolve to a set of coordinates in gender-space. It's possible that you'll open the box and discover they're agender.
- Bohrgender: their gender has exactly one state, which is the result of a mind-meltingly complex set of initial conditions and micro-transitions. Good luck understanding it.
- Heisengender: you can observe the current state of their gender or the direction in which they're transitioning, but the more precisely you understand one of those things, the more incomprehensible the other becomes.
