Repeating my call to the EU to just buy out Mozilla, fire the AI folks, rebuild the policy arm and run it as a public service.

@karl Ladybird is run by a bigot and racist. So no. Also the idea is to not have a new half-assed project but the update servers for the installations of Firefox that still exist.
There is another rendering engine the EU should invest in heavily but that's Servo.
@tante intolerance of unsavory opinions is an attack vector I'd exploit if I were a state actor trying to thwart European efforts at digital sovereignty.
I currently use Waterfox. Seems pretty ok on Debian 13.
