Congratulations to everyone working at Google to finally murder the Web forever
Post
@thomasfuchs Not that anyone really need that thing.
@thomasfuchs
Kodak
Nokia
Google (just backwards)
The first two were killed when better alternatives moved past them and they fell off the back of the bell curve Google is out the other side progressively eliminating a better search experience to get in front of the curve they will be run over by.
The interesting choices companies make went totally divorced for a decade from people that used their products. (And I do mean used)
@thomasfuchs what did they do this time
@thomasfuchs to everyone who used to work there, time to build something else. 😉 🫂💙🚀
@nicksilkey @thomasfuchs
I suggest that something else should be an industry movement to force the US government to enforce anti-competition laws against Google. And Meta. And Apple.
@bruce @nicksilkey you’re not wrong, but this is increasingly more unlikely to ever happen
@thomasfuchs @bruce the only thing that happens as well as what is capable is change. ✌️💙
@thomasfuchs what did I miss?
@thomasfuchs it's a form of legacy
