Yesterday I replied to a toot someone posted. Their toot was boggling at how trans women were excluded from the challenging physical sport that is darts. My reply pointed out that chess is also gender segregated, at least at lower levels.

Lots of people replied to me asking why. And the reply is simple.

Men don't like being beaten by a girl. Chess is gender segregated to protect fragile men.

it is true that banning TG women from wonen's play is vile

but aside from that, FIDE seems to me to be doing ok; surely you acknowledge that historically, chess has been a male dominated sport hostile to women and that we need "affirmative action" ??

@failedLyndonLaRouchite I stand by my statement. FIDE endorses womens only tournaments and do not allow trans women to compete.
