Remember how 4 days ago it snowed here? In 5 days it will be 35C. Wowee.
(And while I'm sure that the extremes are exacerbated by climate change, this is still well within historical normals for Saskatchewan. Continental climates are wild.)

@sundogplanets Traditionally the last snow in Boulder is on CU graduation day. This year it was a few days after.

I've been to #Manitoba 3 weeks in May 1992. My first trip across the Atlantic. We were in the army and had an "anniversary present" manoeuvre in Camp Shiloh. When we arrived it was cold (hardly 10°C by day, frosty in the nights) and when we left we had 35°C. The green exploded and we've seen gophers playing with us, funny birds in red, blue and yellow. And a radio station kx96 (does it still exist?)
A long time ago. But then suddenly I understood the difference in climate. I live in northern Germany between the Baltic and the Northsea. We always have a slow change I guess related by the water temperature.
For me it was important to experience the difference to understand it. I guess, it's what the most people are missing - opportunities to understand nature.

I was excited it started raining for a little while! And now it's snowing again.
