@Gina digital ID is coming, you can either agree just to see silly shit online and defy their rules.
@Gina Internet is going to get smaller for me, because I’ll rather not visit those webpages than to comply with these Google’s “tantrums” (or any other Big Tech companies’)
But considering how the internet look like recently, I’m not even sure if that’s a bad thing.
@Gina avoid the websites still using recaptcha
@Gina that's me not using whatever website throws that monstrosity in my face.
Lol at "let's hope Google won't limit it further."
@Gina I'm curious when I'll write my first feedback to a company that they lost me as client due to that
@hikingdude I suspect that if Google goes through with limiting reCAPTCHA to *just* Android devices, that most websites will have to look into alternatives.
@Gina uhhh right! I didn't think about that. That would be pretty stupid
@Gina Yikes, so now I have to weigh whether I still want to access the site by scanning an unknown QR code or not at all. I think I will end up using a lot less sites on the internet.
@Gina prevent this by running a virus scan? What?
@Gina So I identified all those buses and traffic lights for nothing
