Having my least favorite conversation in the replies, and I'm not mad but... I just, don't get what you folks want from me.
"I agree, what now?"
I mean does the society around you agree? Do they LOOK primed to shut it down and end capitalism?
So I don't know. What I know is that the solution I settled on was to talk to regular people, many of whom find the word anarchist terrifying, and explain to them what's happening, how they can fight it. I am not done explaining - clearly. Look at them?
What do you think I'm doing, right now? Yeah - YOU agree. Are YOU a revolution, by yourself? Me neither.
They aren't gonna put me on CNN mate. They aren't putting you there either. This is what we got, telling each other.
I have spent 10 years training up maybe 450 revolutionary minds, because that was the best I could do. If I could make it happen tomorrow, I'd have done it many tomorrows ago.
What now? Learn to organize. I can't do that for you.
My plan is, to talk to people, show them what time it is, and then someone else can lead the revolution because I'm already all used up just getting the ball this far.
So I don't know. And more to the point I don't know how meaningful it is that after months of discussion, you more or less agree with me.
Do you sincerely think they're gonna let me write out a plan for revolution on public social media with you? Do you want to go to jail for nothing because there is no revolution to lead?
If I had a better plan than "teach everyone around me what I know about capitalism, nazism, power and resistance" - I would be doing it.
Maybe it's a bad plan. I dunno. It's just what I've got. They will not let me buy the world a Coke and talk this out. They will never do that.
One thing I can say is that you have a lotta organizers out here. I see them posting all the time; people for whom this IS what they do.
I write essays, and read history books, and tell rich people I can see that they're naked.
