The old man #rooster guards the new beehive apiary location, or is hiding from the other roosters that chase him around. He is red looking but is a black based #SwedishFlowerHen. There are two #bee colonies beyond him, one is situated and the other is in a bait #hive, or swarm trap, with the small nuc hive behind it which they will be moved into because it is small. They sit on a two full size hive stand plus room for a nuc to make 3 spaces.

The #chick from the #6 egg that hatched today with assistance since it was very big and made a full egg and had been trying for too long. It's fine.

A very large pink #peonies #flower on a hard maple wood dining table. There are a couple of bowls of salad, empty plates, and the turned bottle of salad dressing as to not reveal the secret.

The previously mentioned apiary after the nuc hive is setup and a feeder lid has been installed and a jar of food. There is a metal can to cover the jar of food so the sun doesn't shine on it. The bait hive is sitting off to the side before it was taken back to it's tree. grass rocks trees in the background. The hive is made from a heavy duty pallet cut down and split redcedar posts that were smoothed up square with saws, and hand planes, to fit as legs with lots of screws securing them. The exposed parts of the stand were coated with boiled linseed oil.
