Explored new hikes today. The first was the Canyon Trail at Waimea Canyon State Park. Planned to do the loop but made it to the first waterfall and the stream was raging, making crossing precarious. So I went back. Then drove down to the literal end of the road along the N膩pali coast and hiked the first mile of the Pihea trail, which gives you the fabulous view down to the ocean. Wrapped it up with a poke plate at Kauai Kookie. Not a bad Saturday.
