I have to stay away from the fediverse today to not have my heart broken all the time from people gleefully posting about the music-washing of genocide festival.
I used to think it was crazy that the world participated in the nazi Germany Olympics. Now, well I guess I still find it crazy.
@forteller In Spain we decide not to participate in Eurovisión (as many other countries). You can watch spanish music instead of Eurovision ;)

@forteller equating a pan-European song contest to the Nazi Olympics is a stretch. Especially since the nation with genocidal leaders isn’t hosting or really deeply involved apart from being 4% of the contestants.
