@matuzo I'm certainly aware of Eurovision. In past years, that's mostly been from social media feeds, but it's been getting more attention in mainstream Canadian news.
Especially the last year & a half, lots of talk about how we need to integrate more with Europe instead of the US & "Canada should compete at Eurovision" has definitely been part of it. First step to joining the EU, apparently.
(I'm not watching, but I know people who do.)
