Ahh Europe.. where your choices are depressing weather and employment, or beautiful weather and unemployment. 🇪🇺

@Gina we are fully remote and currently hiring 🤓 https://www.openproject.org/careers/#vacancies #GetFediHired
@Gina Don't they do full time remote work in the EU?
@antaeus Do they do the full time from home? Both my wife and I have jobs like that. Neither of us has been into an office for quite some time. Going on two years for me, and that was a trip that I had to travel across the country for because the city I live in doesn't have an office. We live where we live because of the kids' schools for the most part. My wife also is from this part of the world, so she's comfortable here. Technically we could work from Denmark and no one would care.
@Gina abso-fⒶckin'-lutely,
!
@Gina come to the UK, we have depressing weather and a depressing economy
Oh
@Gina
As I always say, no one moves to Germany for the weather or the food.
@Gina we do not have depressing weather. We have sleep in weather, stormy weather, sunny weather, stay inside with a cup of tea weather and go outside, get wet, come in and enjoy weather. Unfortunately, the indoor part is becoming very expensive in these areas. However, we just invented work from home.
@prefec2 fair, the poffertjes and stroopwafels do help ❤️
@Gina If wasn't for that dichotomy why would folks ever live in places with bad weather? 😉
@Gina in Barcelona is beautiful weather, high employment, and pretty low payment 😅👌
@castrillo the cursed triangle
@Gina @castrillo good weather, good jobs, good benefits. Pick any two.
@Gina no idea why I am putting up with depressing weather when I work fully remote 😩
