@sjvn A challenge I'd love to be addressed better - by any means available, AI if it must be - is how to get users to actually apply those updates faster.

That includes getting them released without regressions.

AI companies currently get the praise for what's effectively the easiest part - finding them.

@sjvn @ZDNet Is it linux or is this just that the marketing for these flaw is bigger than before? Like, last I remember, GKH was saying that most of these are not that major, they fix some like them all the time. It is just that now people talk about them

@sjvn Because exposing bugs now comes with more media success than delivering fixes. The hard work of getting stuff fixed and delivering updates is hardly noticed. It should be the other way round. The real victim here is the responsible disclosure process. If that is a good or a bad thing depends on your perspective or, quite often, the answer on "what's in it for me" 😞 @ZDNet
