I use "personal notes" religiously to avoid re-following the wrong people.
I very much like that I need to provide no justification or context at all, the source is trusted.

@CartyBoston Thanks for the tip! I had not, before just now at your prompting, looked up the meaning of the “personal note” on Mastodon. My new personal note about Carty: “Seems like a reflective, kind, and inoffensive person.” My personal note if I wrote one about myself: “Old, sometimes grumpy, often too serious.”
