Oh right. Ofcourse Bitlocker encryption can be bypassed with a mere thumbdrive.
If you MUST use Windows, then at least Veracrypt that shit.

it's not clear to me if during step 2 the target system has a user logged in, or if this can be done from the login-screen without any authentication whatsoever?
