Why do you care?
Post
@Daojoan I am too proud to give up.
Pathological justice sensitivity.
@Daojoan I'm pretty sure I was born with a heart of glass. I've tried to pray the caring away, but seems it's who I've been called to be...I read an article once that said you should be what you need, and tho Im still not sure it works, at least I know I'm not depriving anyone of what I feel so deprived of.....
@Daojoan because I think my caring improves others people's lives. And that my caring make them care.
@Daojoan
Because I have a family.
@Daojoan Just listened to the NPR interview of Jodi Kantor talking about her new book, How to Start: Discovering Your Life's Work. The book is a guide for young people navigating the uncertain career future, and their parents trying to make sense of it all. Some complex topics just feel frustrating and beyond my grasp. I took ten minutes for an AI debrief to consider how I can better focus these ideas in the course I teach and general interactions with the young people in my life coping with this broken system. That’s why I care.
@Daojoan I'm made that way. It's sometimes frustrating the way not caring is seldom an option. Why do you ask?
Because it makes life more interesting.
@Daojoan keeps me busy.
Same reason I breathe, eat, drink etc. for me it's all part of being a social animal
It is the moral thing to do.
@Daojoan because i just want to look at cat pictures and play video games!!
@Daojoan who says I care? :P
