@soulexpress Dig. It's not as well-known as it should be. Dom Flemons, formerly of Carolina Chocolate Drops, now a solo act, has two nice live takes of it, too.
Rabbit Brown only has a few recordings, cuz, you know, white people.
Listen to that guitar.
But this is just glorious. The lyric at the end can freak you out, tho such statements were not uncommon at the time. The earlier verses are just so damned sweet.
