No, the oil thing is weird. He has an almost religious relationship with oil. I honestly DO believe Trump lays awake at night thinking of like, untapped oil reserves in the North Sea.
Like I get why fascists love oil, but Trump LOVES oil in a way that is slightly fucking unhinged all on its own, completely apart from the fascism. On some level he seems to think that burning the world to ash is worth it to not leave the oil lonely.

@riley Sure? No. Trump's brainworm is unpredictable. But I do believe he seems to care about oil, emotionally, in a way he does not about other grifts rich people are paying him to facilitate. His talk about AI, or defense spending, doesn't approach the same level of religious fervor as every conversation he has about Oil and Coal. I think it's personal for him.
But "sure?" Yeah that's tough - I am not sure of anything going on in Trump's brain because it's broken.
@AnarchoNinaWrites I guess it could be explained by him being a part of the Space Dinosaurs' beachhead / terraforing team, seeking to make Earth's climate Jurassic again by liberating their sacred ancestors' carbonic spirits from their underground tombs and allowing them to float in the atmosphere again.
