It was absolutely inevitable that the fascist right would wake up and recognize the LLM industry is a potent propaganda channel, and try to monopolize it (via "regulation").

@cstross Considering how much Peter Thiel invests in LLMs, and the closed doors audience he granted to the more right wing part of the Vatican, I'd say the fascist's use of LLMs has been in full swing for a while.

The NZ govt has just agreed to a corporate climate change cop-out for corporations too.
At some point we need to regulate the arse off these grifting companies and hold their shareholders to criminal account for the damage they cause.
