Over the weekend we hosted a “dugnad” together with our friends at Hudd (a Norwegian social network) and @protonprivacy. A dugnad is a Norwegian gem of a word meaning communal work. As in "this job is too big for one person, but if we all pitch in, it won’t be so bad".
The Digital Dugnad is about helping each other switch away from Big Tech and dumping them in the trash. We are honored and overwhelmed by the response! Huge thank you to all of the volunteers who hosted dugnads all over Norway from north (almost close to the North Pole!) to south. T
To get started on your journey away from Big Tech, you can go to https://digitaldugnad.eu (if you can read Norwegian, that is 😉). Should we scale this up to other countries?
